The Haircut-3 Months Later

several of you

have been asking for an update on my hair



you'll recall

that 3 months ago

i had it all chopped off

to get a pixie cut



here's what it looked like immediately after the cut

and here i am 3 months later

yes

it's grown



i have trimmed the sides and back

just a bit

to keep it tidy



but the rest is natural growth

which i'd guess

equals about a half inch per month



i'll be honest



i'm quite happy to have it a bit longer

as the short, short hair

was very short, indeed



overall

i've been very happy with my new 'do

and very glad i went for it



it's super easy



literally

wash and go



and has been extremely comfortable

for summer



but i'll not lie



it's been an adjustment

for me

and for Chad



and we're both

looking forward to adding length



hopefully

the growing out process

won't be too painful



or too cold during the winter months



we'll see

i fear that the next 90 days

will be the most awkward stage of growing out

as i move from pixie to shag
