Whitifying

last night

i made a snap decision

to paint some pieces of furniture

that were feeling a little

dark and fusty

of course

i probably would have been wiser

to not start this project the night before

company was expected

but

i did

here is what the buffet looked like before

and after

the china cupboard that we bought for $10
out of the pennysaver years ago

and now

shame the door's now painted shut
not kidding even a little bit

round side table unpainted

and now

and here's a view of the dining room a few days ago

and the same view now

hopefully

it all looks lighter and brighter

and it's even mostly dry

now

i need to go pry open that china cupboard
