last year
i decided to tinker
with my basic chocolate fudge recipe
i had gotten some
and i needed to find something to do with them
since i was making fudge anyway
i decided to go minty
and use half chocolate chips
and half creme de menthe chips
voila
a new favorite was born
(and consumed rapidly)
to make
2/3 cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup evaporated milk
3 cups sugar
7 oz. marshmallow creme
6 oz. chocolate chips
6 oz. andes creme de menth chips
1 tsp. vanilla
on the stove top
combine butter
milk
and sugar
bring to a rolling boil over medium heat
boil for 5 minutes
stirring constantly to avoid scorching
remove from heat
add baking chips
marshmallow creme
vanilla
stir until completely blended
pour into lightly greased 9 x 13 pan
allowing to cool completely before cutting
hide them from your children
share and enjoy!
