on a sunny afternoon
we took
one hayride
hiked a big hill
that was muddy and steep
found
two walking sticks
and
of course
the perfect tree
not too tall
or too short
not too skinny
or too fat
and one
that 6 people
from the same family
could all agree on
which we then cut down
(and by we, i don't mean me)
i had a more
advisory
role
one little man
who might've been a bit
pooped
from the trudge
11 (?) mud-caked shoes
lotsa rope
700 red and white lights
dozens of ornaments
old and new
all add up to
