that is the sound of one tired mama
who has reached the end of another school year
portfolios done
evaluations done
affadavit for next year
done
we spent the year
working hard
reading
studying
memorizing
testing
creating
etc.
and now are brains are in
full-on play mode
you might not read anything new on this blog
for three
whole
blissful
months
of summer
my brain is tired
my creativity is at low ebb
i have no desire
whatsoever
to sit inside
in the schoolroom
on the computer
for any length of time
if you need me
i'll be at the pool
or
the local flea markets
or
working in my flower garden
dining alfresco
did i mention
the pool?
